The WIBs recruitment assistance strategies have been developed to provide businesses with various levels of assistance based on the number of open positions, the size of the business, the type of open positions, and other factors. Our team customizes each service to meet the needs of the business, ensuring access to the most qualified candidates. ​

Digital Marketing

For employers who need to expand their reach, the WIB will develop digital marketing assets and promote open positions on the Employment Connection website and social media accounts reaching thousands of potential job seekers throughout Tulare County and the surrounding communities.

• The WIB will develop social media posts.

• Open positions are included in the weekly Job Leads packet.

Job Connect                                                                            

Job Connect is a weekly event held at the Visalia and Porterville Employment Connection Centers that provides employers direct access to Employment Connection customers and the general public.  Employers can share information about open positions, company culture, and answer questions from job seekers.  There are typically 30-50 job seekers in attendance each week.

• The WIB will develop event specific social media posts.

• Open positions are included in the weekly Job Leads packet.

Customized Recruitment/Interview Event

When a business is recruiting for multiple positions the WIB can help to facilitate a customized recruitment event. These events may include providing accommodations at an Employment Connection Center to conduct open interviews, pre-scheduling interviews with potential job seekers, or organizing open recruitments.

• The WIB will develop event specific social media posts.

• Open positions are included in the weekly Job Leads packet. 

• The event is promoted on the Employment Connection Hiring and Job Leads webpage.

• The WIB facilitates the event including room set-up, job seeker registration, etc. ​

Job Fair

Job Fairs are designed to provide multiple businesses the opportunity to interact with a large number of job seekers in one location. Most job fairs include at least 15 participating businesses and more than 200 job seekers attend. ​​

• The WIB will develop event specific social media posts.

• Open positions are included in the weekly Job Leads packet. 

• The event is promoted on the Employment Connection Hiring and Job Leads webpage.

• The WIB will facilitate the event including employer booth registration, room-set up, job seeker registration, etc.  ​
